MICHAEL MATTHEWS – BPROC (UCT)

After spending the first part of his life in Zimbabwe, Mike studied at UCT and qualified in 1983. After 12 successful years in partnership at C & A Friedlander, Mike formed his own practice in 1997. Mike specialises in commercial law and disputes, High Court litigation, Labour Law, Wills and the Administration of Deceased Estates. When he is not working, his hobbies include doting over his grandchildren, mountain-biking, creative writing and motorcycling.

DAMIAN ENSLIN – BA LLB (UNISA)

Damian is a qualified Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer who has been a partner at the firm since 2004 and who, in common with his colleagues, is passionate about service. Damian specialises in conveyancing and property-related law, including freehold and sectional title ownership, and mortgage bond registrations. Damian also specialises in legal issues relating to the Firearms Control Act of 2000 and is able to assist with firearm licence applications, appeals, accreditation of sports shooting bodies and businesses. Security companies can also call Damian to assist with compliance issues as well as with license applications. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and is a firearm fundi.

DAVID SZÖKE – LLB (UNISA)

Meet David, a passionate and pragmatic attorney, notary, and conveyancer. Serving as a director at the firm since early 2023, David specialises in litigation, rental and property law, as well as legal matters related to firearms, the private security industry, and liquor licensing.

Beyond the office, David enjoys music, motorcycling, and sport-shooting. In both his professional and personal endeavours, he exemplifies a balance between dedication to his work and enthusiasm for life outside the office.

Tegan is a distinguished graduate from Stellenbosch University with a BA (Law) and LLB degree. Tegan is currently leading our team in the administration of deceased estates, wills, and trusts department.

In 2023, Natalie joined Matthews Enslin Inc as a candidate attorney, signifying the start of her legal journey. A Stellenbosch University graduate with both a BA (Law) and an LLB, she boasts a comprehensive foundation in law.
